Foster for gifford
There are many different reasons that the shelter may not be a good environment for a given cat at a particular time: special dietary needs, recovery from surgery, short-term minor illness (such as upper respiratory infection), or they need a break from the stress of living with many other cats in our free-roam environment. Pregnant and nursing mother cats and very young kittens whose immune systems are not yet fully developed also fare better physically and behaviorally in a foster home environment.
If you are thinking of becoming a foster parent, we will guide you through the process and share our experience. We hope you will join our other foster parents who have found the experience to be very rewarding.
