Helping Our Community
The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to provide a safe haven for stray, abused, and unwanted cats until they are matched with their permanent loving homes. We recognize many community members are struggling to provide for their human and animal family members alike. As our community needs have changed, we expanded our mission to help cats remain in their homes.
Since 2020, we've operated the Gifford Cat Food Pantry for those in need of cat food. The Food Pantry supplies 2 weeks' worth of food at a time, for up to 3 months per household.
Note: we're not able to supply items such as beds, litter, or toys,
nor can we provide medication or prescription foods through the Food Pantry.
Food Pantry items may be picked up at the Shelter
at 30 Undine Rd., Brighton, MA 02135,
between 10 am-4 pm, seven days a week.
If you would like to donate cat food for the Pantry, chose one of the following:
- Drop it off in the labeled bin outside our main office
- Have it delivered to 30 Undine Road, Brighton, MA 02135
- Order from our Chewy Wish List or Amazon Wish List.
