Tree of Life

IMG_6322 (2)The Gifford Cat Shelter’s “Tree of Life” is much more than a beautiful sculpture created by our very own Board of Director member, Christine Quinby.

The “Tree of Life” is housed in our facility’s main adoption building representing life and second chances that you make possible for countless homeless and neglected cats. Each part of the Tree holds a special gift of love noted in the names and inscriptions engraved in its leaves. Everyone who views our tree will be filled with emotion after reading the names and inscriptions woven through its branches. The “Tree of Life” recognizes your significant contribution to our mission in a lasting and meaningful way.

It is the most loving way to memorialize a pet or person, or become a part of our century long history. To become a part of our lasting tradition, gift a leaf to a family member or friend, or memorialize a leaf to someone special.
